Another reason

Apart from lethargy, lack of ideas, writer's block, a blogger can potentially shy from blogging just by reading high quality blogging by some of the web-famous ones. I call this phenomenon : reader's shock. Excellent reading material sometime inspire you but there is an equally good chance of you getting shocked into silence. These deterrents are all collectively put down as blogger's block. I have turned reader's shock on its head by blogging about it. :p

On a tangential note, Vernon God Little is an excellent read. Superb piece of literature. I had started reading this book, about an year ago and couldn't continue and put it aside. According to wiki, 35% of the people (who polled) couldn't finish the book. Its a small book and has been written very differently. It takes time to get used to it.
