Secrets

I step out of the moviehouse into the cool, breezy night. A little dazy, i walk towards my bike parked near the rail station. The clouds around my head are in stark contrast to the clear starlit sky. Today is the full moon and it hung low in the sky with a gentle smile. As i wind up a gentle slope, the grass sprinklers decide to wake up. Slowly spluttering, they spray out a misty water sheet across the lawn. During day time, if you would ride past these same sprinklers you would see an ephemeral rainbow running infront of you. The point, however, is not about sprinklers or cloudless skies.

As i cut across the misty water sheets, i was wondering about the movie i just saw. Davinci Code. I am a big admirer of mysteries and secrets. It still amazes me how history is ridden with secrets. If only we take care to straighten a few things when we are here, right now! If jesus had an orkut profile, and if he had updated his profile status to committed before the crucifixion, none of this would have ever happened. Though, i am nowhere close to be what he was, i have done the smarter thing. And, my children, there would be no more of those intriguing puzzles for you to solve ;)
