Green Grass

A lazy guy once said the grass is always greener on the other side. He didn’t want to go all the way to the other side. When I was at my intern, I missed school so much. The laid back atmosphere and the feeling of home exerted a far greater pull than ever. A few of my friends have graduated from school and started working. There are nuanced differences in their work culture and they have been thriving accordingly. What stuck me most is the job of an old friend of mine. He works like a consultant and the job seems to be tailor-made for him (black goggles inclusive). He works far less time, gets good projects on his resume, excellent pay, paid travel across cities. He works in the south of the country during winter and north during summer. Pakka Vagabond.

Jobs as a rule are meant to be routine. We spend one-half of our day doing the most routine thing. The other day on History channel, there was a show about how this guy came up with an instrument (something like a violin), learnt how to play it and perfected it. That was his life. There is no point in this post, just couple of things I want to talk to you about. Drivel, if you will.

You seem to meander just to maintain your image! :-))
Writing well comes off despite that.
