Primal fear

Its no big deal. No matter how hard he tried, he could'nt shake the feeling off. He knew it could happen to anyone, anytime. But what if. Trying to stave off the sinking feeling of despair, he tried to focus. His pulse fastened and he found himself running. His attempts to focus left him bleary and his speed left his vision blurry. He landed on his right leg, even as the sound of impact reached his ears. His eyes shot upwards as he saw the ball sail over the ropes. His heart went numb.
