You got Smug!

Are you staying up late worried you might be smug? How do I know if I am smug? Is there help out there? Who do I talk to? Is there a cure?

The first thing you need to realize that smug is, indeed, a widely prevalent disease. It can spread through verbal or visual contact. Affected persons have to be dealt with delicately and if possible, sarcastically. The smug “bug” is known to commonly affect graduate students, typically towards the end of their graduation period. The exact cause for the bug is currently under research. Baseless speculation can however offer damning insights. Long years of fatiguing, pointless research under the steely gaze of advisor, excess peer and beer pressure, internship or job at a well known company. These are just a few factors that can increase risk of infection. In some rare cases, you are just born that way. Accept it.

Has your friend been acting smug lately? Spending too much time at Starbucks? Talking to a friend who has the smug disorder can help save his life. Yes, his life. Smug females are extremely rare. If the smug bug isn’t dealt with properly, it can lead to a full blown social catastrophe. The patient (!!) walks around victimizing people, the act commonly known as Smugging.

Are you Smug? Take the Smug test! A series of ten questions to diagnose, put down by smug victims, experts and others. Coming soon

This post is to bring awareness about Smugness as apprehended by Suresh. I implore fellow bloggers to narrate their experiences in short posts. Consider this as a tag, if you will.

Nice post !!...although my smugness prevents from appreciating any further...

Smug affects females as much as males...I think ur research data is corrupted, if not, your opinion is prejudiced....Infact I think the female strain of smugness is more severe than the male strain !!
